Mary and George Michael say good-bye for now

As the sun set over Bali Hai, there was a section of the beach lit with tiki torches and tables loaded with party food and tropical drinks, including one delicious-looking cake.

Once everything was set up, Mary smiled to herself. She knew how to throw a party.

As much as Mary would have liked to be exploring the tropical paradise at the end of the causeway, she instead took the portal back to Virginia to attend another AA meeting. Mary had gone to the French mainland to do some shopping. She came back with a case of red wine. She justified it by telling herself that she couldn't go all the way to France and not get wine. She drowns her sorrows in pie with Sean

And then she goes to the bar, tries to sell her wedding dress to Juli, gets drunk with Mike, and teaches George how to do body shots

Something didn't feel quite right when Mary opened her eyes. She slid out of the bed, her hooves hitting the floor with a thud...

Wait a minute. Hooves?

She trotted over to the mirror. "Oh no..."

Mary was on the verge of tears, thanks to a city hall bureaucrat who gave her a lecture on all the documents needed to get a marriage license in Greece. Apparently they needed to get stuff copied, translated, and stamped by another bureaucrat at the U.S. Embassy in Athens. There wasn't going to be a wedding on the beach today.

George Michel wants to get married and have babies, like, right now

Mary was fairly quiet as she brought the twins home after their trip to  the gallery. She got them settled at the kitchen table with some paper and crayons while she pondered what the kids had told her about  Coco Chanel Deline McCoy.

After taking it easy all week, Mary was feeling much better. She had the windows open (as well as the doors to the balcony) to bring in some fresh air as she got to work cleaning the hotel suite. There were only so many times she could watch those wedding shows on television before losing her mind.
